Centennial alum JT Price competes for New Mexico State in Division I baseball win

On Saturday, Feb. 28, at 6 p.m., JT Price, a former Centennial High School standout now pitching for New Mexico State, helped his team defeat the Prairie View A&M Panthers 7-2 in NCAA Division I play.

Presley Askew Field was the setting for the contest, which marked the Aggies’ second meeting with the Panthers this season. In the prior matchup on Friday, Feb. 27, the Aggies claimed a 12-6 victory.

Price pitched two innings, giving up one earned run, issuing one walk, and striking out two batters.

The Aggies are slated to play their next game against Prairie View A&M on Sunday, March 1, at 11 a.m. at Presley Askew Field.
