Congressman Abe Hamadeh, representing Arizona’s 8th congressional district, shared a series of posts on August 3, 2025, addressing topics ranging from the direction of the Republican Party to U.S. foreign policy and domestic political controversies.
In a conversation with Garret Lewis, Hamadeh stated, “This is the new America First Republican Party… Republicans for so long have been so weak. They’ve been controlled opposition. President Trump woke them up.” (August 3, 2025).
Later that day, Hamadeh reported on his engagement with international partners in Syria. He wrote, “NEW Congressman Hamadeh received a situation brief from General Mazloum of the Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF) — the US ally in the fight against ISIS. The Congressman thanked General Mazloum and the interim government of Damascus for their continued assistance in the” (August 3, 2025).
Addressing ongoing debates over investigations into former President Trump, Hamadeh commented on allegations related to Russian interference in U.S. elections: “The Russia collusion hoax—if you look at the definition of treason, it fits. They were working with a foreign government and the deep state, manufacturing evidence and documents to take down an honorable person who just wanted to serve.” (August 3, 2025).
Hamadeh assumed office after winning Arizona’s 8th congressional district seat in November 2024 by defeating Gregory Whitten with approximately 56.5% of the vote.
