Office of Congressman Abe Hamadeh, the official account for U.S. Representative Abe Hamadeh, posted a series of tweets on July 16 and 17, 2025, addressing issues related to Federal Reserve leadership and recent legislative achievements in defense funding.
On July 16, 2025, the account called for the immediate resignation of Federal Reserve Chairman Jerome Powell. The tweet stated: “May 2026 is far too long to wait for Chairman Powell to leave the Federal Reserve. He should resign now and stop burdening our economy with his blind partisanship and fiscal mismanagement.”
Later that day, the office highlighted legislative successes related to Arizona’s military interests. The tweet read: “NEW Congressman Hamadeh Delivers Dozens of Defense Bill Wins for Arizona’s Troops, Bases, and Industry Read Full Press Release https://t.co/YQbNJHRiET”.
On July 17, 2025, another post emphasized Congressman Hamadeh’s commitment to national defense and his role in securing amendments in the National Defense Authorization Act (NDAA). The tweet stated: “Congressman Hamadeh promised his constituents that he would prioritize their safety & America’s national defense. In this NDAA, the Congressman fought for & secured over 30 amendments to the defense budget that will give America’s warrior what they need.”
The NDAA is an annual federal law specifying the budget and expenditures for the U.S. Department of Defense. Amendments can address a wide range of military priorities including personnel benefits, equipment procurement, and support for military bases.
