The Office of Congressman Abe Hamadeh recently shared a series of tweets addressing various political issues. These posts reflect the Congressman’s positions on international sanctions, election integrity, and constitutional powers.
On July 7, 2025, the office highlighted “The Caesar Syria Civilian Protection Act of 2019 was created to punish the Assad regime”. The tweet emphasized that with the Assad regime no longer in power, President Biden is providing Syria with a new beginning by lifting sanctions. Congressman Hamadeh supports Representative Joe Wilson’s bill which aims to codify this policy shift.
Later that day, another tweet expressed approval for a new initiative by DNIGabbard. It stated “Great to see @DNIGabbard’s new DIG group will review Biden-era scandals & address election vulnerabilities from 2020 & 2022”. The post underlined Congressman Hamadeh’s interest in scrutinizing the 2022 election results.
In a subsequent tweet on the same day, the office asserted congressional authority over financial matters as per Article I, Section 9, Clause 7 of the Constitution. The tweet read “Article I, Section 9, Clause 7 of the Constitution gives Congress the power of the purse.” It noted that a particular bill had passed both houses and been signed into law by President Biden. The statement concluded with criticism of a judge who allegedly attempted to override this legislative process.
