The Office of Congressman Abe Hamadeh recently highlighted a series of meetings and community engagements through its official Twitter account, focusing on veterans’ issues, law enforcement, and public safety in Arizona.

On August 28, 2025, the office posted about Congressman Hamadeh’s first veterans’ roundtable. The tweet read: “This was my first veterans’ roundtable. It was a mastermind group, and it was so impactful. I learned a lot from them; it almost felt like a mini committee hearing right here in my own office.” The post also referenced additional coverage from ABC15 on the event.

Later that day, another tweet expressed appreciation for local law enforcement: “Thank you to Goodyear Police Chief Brian Issitt for stopping by the office today to meet with Congressman Hamadeh. Goodyear is one of our nation’s fastest-growing cities, and the Congressman is committed to supporting law enforcement across our beautiful state.” This statement underscored the Congressman’s ongoing commitment to police agencies within his district.

On August 29, 2025, the office shared news about hosting another local official: “It was great to host Goodyear Councilmember Vicki Gillis at the District Office today. Ms. Gillis has made public safety her top priority, and Congressman Hamadeh shares her dedication to ensuring safer communities”.

Congressman Abraham Hamadeh won his seat in 2024 after defeating Gregory Whitten in the general election with 56.5% of the vote compared to Whitten’s 43.5%. The district he represents includes rapidly growing communities such as Goodyear.
