Congressman Abe Hamadeh, who represents his district after winning the 2024 general election against Gregory Whitten with 56.5% of the vote, has recently made several public statements regarding education policy and support for military families.
On May 27, 2026, Hamadeh’s office posted that “Congressman Hamadeh vowed to defend parental rights & protect America’s children by empowering families, not bureaucrats, over their kids’ upbringing & education. He delivered: Voting for H.R. 2616, the Stopping Indoctrination and Protecting Kids Act, to require parental consent”.
The following day, on May 28, 2026, he criticized current educational trends in another statement: “Too many administrators & predatory teachers have turned our schools into incubators of radical ideology, starving students of real learning. Our children should be discovering the wonders of science & the elegance of mathematics. Instead, they’re being weaponized as foot”.
Later on May 28, Hamadeh announced a new legislative initiative: “NEW Congressman Hamadeh Introduces Bipartisan Military and Veterans Fuel Discount Act Of 2026 Read Press Release https://t.co/NLybOPv89a https://t.co/eogia3auH7”.
Hamadeh assumed office after defeating Gregory Whitten in the November 2024 general election by a margin of approximately thirteen percentage points.
