Debbie Lesko, a U.S. Congresswoman representing Arizona’s 8th District since 2018, has made several public statements via social media concerning pressing issues in her state and nationwide. Lesko, who previously served in the Arizona House of Representatives and Senate, is actively engaging with current political matters.
On June 9, 2025, Lesko addressed the issue of bird flu affecting Arizona’s egg producers. She stated, “I’ve asked the @realDonaldTrump Administration to approve the vaccine that might be the answer we need to stop this devastating bird flu in Arizona. Our egg producers need this vaccine to stem the tide.”
The following day, on June 10, 2025, she expressed her support for President Donald Trump’s actions regarding law enforcement in Los Angeles. Lesko tweeted, “I stand with President @realDonaldTrump’s enforcement of law and order in Los Angeles. The president is keeping the promises he made to the American people.”
In another tweet dated June 11, 2025, Lesko showed appreciation for local law enforcement by stating her support for Peoria Police Department: “I support @PeoriaPoliceAZ ! Thank you for protecting us. I appreciate you.”
Debbie Lesko was born in Sheboygan, Wisconsin in 1958 and currently resides in Peoria. She holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Wisconsin–Madison.
