Debbie Lesko, U.S. Congresswoman representing Arizona’s 8th District since 2018, recently shared updates on her official Twitter account regarding community engagement and regional achievements.
On March 15, 2026, Lesko thanked participants in a discussion on homelessness, stating, “Thank you to all my constituents, @Rachel1Mitchell @MCSOAZ @maricopacounty for the great discussion on homelessness!”
The following day, she congratulated local college basketball teams: “Congrats to the University of @ArizonaMBB Men’s Basketball and Arizona State University Women’s Basketball teams for earning spots in the NCAA March Madness tournaments. We are proud of your accomplishments!” This message was posted on March 16, 2026.
On March 17, 2026, Lesko highlighted her participation in a policy panel with other congressional representatives. She wrote, “This past weekend, I joined @RepAndyBiggsAZ, Utah’s @RepMaloyUtah and Colorado’s @RepJeffHurd on a panel to discuss federal and local issues on a Congressional @westerncaucus policy panel. Thank you for having me – it was fun and informative!”
Lesko has been active in public service for over a decade. Before her tenure in Congress began in 2018, she served in the Arizona House of Representatives from 2009 to 2015 and the Arizona Senate from 2015 to 2018. Born in Sheboygan, Wisconsin in 1958 and currently residing in Peoria at age 64, Lesko holds a bachelor’s degree from the University of Wisconsin–Madison.
