Debbie Lesko, a U.S. Congresswoman representing Arizona’s 8th District since 2018, recently shared updates and commentary on community events and national issues through her social media posts.
On August 27, 2025, Lesko highlighted her participation in a local event, stating, “I enjoyed the West Valley Mayors & Managers Breakfast in Surprise. We discussed several issues of great importance to our communities, including the BNSF Intermodal facility. It’s great to collaborate with others who are dedicated to the long-term success of their cities & towns.”
The following day, she expressed concern over an unspecified news story, writing on August 28, 2025: “VERY Disturbing article! If this type of thing has happened to you or your child, let me know.”
On August 29, 2025, Lesko commented on national border policy and public safety: “Important listen for people to understand how President @realDonaldTrump is securing the border in comparison to his predecessor. Our communities are safer because of the efforts of the White House to restore law and order to our nation.”
Lesko’s recent activity reflects her ongoing engagement with both local government leaders and broader national debates. Born in Sheboygan, Wisconsin in 1958 and currently residing in Peoria at age 64, Lesko has served in Congress since 2018 after previous roles in the Arizona House of Representatives (2009-2015) and Arizona Senate (2015-2018). She holds a Bachelor’s degree from the University of Wisconsin–Madison.
