Debbie Lesko, U.S. Congresswoman representing Arizona’s 8th District since 2018, has recently highlighted community and international developments through a series of posts on her social media account.
On August 18, 2025, Lesko shared news about the expansion of early childhood education in Maricopa County: “Jim Bull from Team Lesko attended the groundbreaking for the Goddard School in Peoria! These preschools are all across our country – there are over 700 locations in the United States, including 10 in Arizona. Welcome to Maricopa County – District 4!”
The following day, August 19, she turned her attention to local economic development with a visit to a new business headquarters: “I had the privilege of touring the new Lucid headquarters in Phoenix. It’s amazing to see how technology and innovation continues to change our lives and society. Welcome to Maricopa County!”
On August 20, Lesko commented on international affairs and peace negotiations related to ongoing global conflicts: “The world is a safer place when the United States takes the lead for peace. God bless President @realDonaldTrump for his efforts to bring an end to the Russia-Ukraine War. We pray for the success of these negotiations.”
Lesko was born in Sheboygan, Wisconsin in 1958 and currently resides in Peoria. She holds a bachelor’s degree from the University of Wisconsin–Madison. Before her current role in Congress, she served both in the Arizona House of Representatives and State Senate.
