Debbie Lesko, U.S. Congresswoman representing Arizona’s 8th District since 2018, recently shared updates on her activities and local events through a series of social media posts.
On March 23, Lesko posted about her attendance at the Luke Air Force Base Air Show, highlighting her appreciation for the military and community: “Today, I attended the @LukeAFB Air Show to see the @BlueAngels perform. I enjoyed seeing General Berkland, the Luke Airmen and the great people of the West Valley. We love celebrating our American military! https://t.co/Gfk3GIXyox”.
Two days later, on March 24, she commented on the return of an Arizona native from Afghanistan: “A GREAT day for Arizona and America as one of our own, Dennis Coyle, is coming home from Afghanistan. Thank you to the members of the Trump Administration for effecting this release. Americans don’t leave our people behind.”
On March 25, Lesko noted her participation in a scam and fraud prevention event with Maricopa County Attorney Rachel Mitchell: “I was pleased to join Maricopa County Attorney Rachel Mitchell for a recent event on scam and fraud prevention in Pebble Creek. A lot of good information was shared to help constituents protect themselves against bad actors! https://t.co/cVc6GjzBqI”.
Lesko has represented Arizona’s 8th Congressional District since 2018 after serving in both chambers of the state legislature between 2009 and 2018. Born in Sheboygan, Wisconsin in 1958, she is currently a resident of Peoria. Lesko earned her bachelor’s degree from the University of Wisconsin–Madison.
