In a tweet published at 01:38 UTC, Lesko announced, “This week, the Board unanimously approved the voting centers for the July Primary Election. We are committed to providing certainty for all voters of Maricopa County.”
Later that day at 14:02 UTC, she commented on voter identification policies by stating, “Excellent speech! I voted for the SAVE Act when I was in Congress and helped pass the ID ballot measure years ago. Showing ID to vote is common sense.”

Born in Sheboygan, Wisconsin in 1958 and currently residing in Peoria at age 64, Lesko holds a bachelor’s degree from the University of Wisconsin–Madison.
