Debbie Lesko, a U.S. Congresswoman representing Arizona’s 8th District since 2018, recently highlighted several community engagements in the West Valley through her social media posts.
On April 6, Lesko posted about Team Lesko’s participation in a local business milestone: “Jim Bull from Team Lesko attended the five-year anniversary of the Pink Door Tea House. We appreciate this business and its impact on our community!”
The following day, she reflected on her involvement with constituents regarding local challenges: “Earlier this spring, I was privileged to facilitate a townhall meeting on homelessness in the West Valley. Thank you to all the Sun City residents – & constituents from surrounding areas – who attended; it is an honor to represent you on the Maricopa County Board of Supervisors.” This statement underscored her ongoing connection with residents and efforts addressing homelessness.
On April 8, Lesko expressed gratitude toward community volunteers: “Late last month, I had the pleasure of attending the Sun City Posse open house. Thank you to everyone who serves our West Valley community in this way. We appreciate your efforts!”
Lesko has been active in public service for over a decade. She served in both chambers of Arizona’s state legislature before being elected to Congress in 2018 and currently resides in Peoria. Born in Sheboygan, Wisconsin in 1958, she earned her BA from the University of Wisconsin–Madison.
