Debbie Lesko, U.S. Congresswoman representing Arizona’s 8th District since 2018, posted a series of messages on her social media account between April 3 and April 5, 2026, addressing religious observances and upcoming changes to election procedures.
On April 3, Lesko marked Good Friday with a message about Christian faith: “Today, we honor the sacrifice of Jesus Christ on the cross for the forgiveness of all who believe in Him.”
Later that day, she referenced potential updates to election processes: “New voting option for 2026 election that could speed up election results!”
On Easter Sunday, April 5, Lesko extended holiday greetings: “Happy Easter! May God continue to bless us and our great nation.”
Lesko has represented Arizona’s 8th District in Congress since 2018. Before her current role, she served in the Arizona House of Representatives from 2009 to 2015 and in the Arizona Senate from 2015 to 2018. Born in Sheboygan, Wisconsin in 1958 and currently residing in Peoria at age 64, Lesko holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Wisconsin–Madison.
