Debbie Lesko, a seasoned politician representing Arizona’s 8th District in the U.S. Congress since 2018, recently shared her thoughts on social media regarding ongoing local events and personal experiences. Her comments reflect her engagement with community activities and appreciation for public service efforts.
On July 3, 2025, Lesko expressed gratitude towards those involved in combating a wildfire. She stated, “Thank you to all who are working on this wildfire!”
Later that day, she commended state and county workers for their efforts by posting “Great job to our state and county workers!”
In another post on the same day, Lesko reflected on her experience addressing a congregation at Church on the Green in Sun City West during an Independence Day service. She remarked on the importance of religious freedom in America by saying, “I had the honor of addressing the congregation at Church on the Green in Sun City West this past Sunday for their Independence Day service. We are so blessed to live in a country where freedom of religion is protected. May we never take that liberty for granted.”
Lesko has been active in politics since serving in the Arizona House of Representatives from 2009 to 2015 and later in the Arizona Senate until 2018. Born in Sheboygan, Wisconsin, she holds a BA from the University of Wisconsin–Madison and currently resides in Peoria.
