Debbie Lesko, former U.S. Congresswoman representing Arizona’s 8th District, has recently shared a series of posts on social media addressing legislative issues and local oversight matters.
On February 11, 2026, Lesko stated her support for voting legislation, writing, “I’m a huge supporter of the SAVE Act. Only Citizens Should Vote! I co-sponsored it while I was in Congress.”
The following day, on February 12, 2026, she questioned another public official’s transparency with the post: “Will @azjustinheap finally tell the truth ?”
Later that same day, Lesko announced her participation in an upcoming congressional hearing. She wrote: “TOMORROW: I’m a witness for an important hearing by the @JudiciaryGOP’s Subcommittee on Crime to highlight the oversight of the Maricopa Co Sheriff’s Office by a federal monitor. I look forward to sharing the truth about this very frustrating situation.”
Lesko has served in Congress since 2018 after previous terms in both chambers of Arizona’s state legislature. She was born in Sheboygan, Wisconsin in 1958 and currently resides in Peoria. Lesko is also an alumna of the University of Wisconsin–Madison.
