The City of Glendale’s Convention & Visitors Bureau (CVB) has announced a rebranding initiative, changing its name to “Experience Glendale.” This move is part of the city’s ongoing efforts to position Glendale as a premier destination for tourism and hospitality at local, state, national, and international levels.

The rebranding was unveiled during the grand opening week of Andretti Indoor Karting & Games. The event attracted over 2,000 visitors and showcased the excitement, culture, and entertainment that characterize Glendale. The celebration included Arizona-themed activities, mascot meet-and-greets, marching bands, influencer appearances, and a drone light show.

Eddie Hamann, managing member of Andretti Indoor Karting & Games stated: “Glendale is Arizona’s premier entertainment destination with so many exciting things to do and we’re thrilled to welcome the West Valley and beyond to enjoy everything we have to offer.”

This change is part of the Economic Development Department’s broader strategy aimed at attracting new visitors while encouraging them to experience dining, retail, and entertainment in Glendale. Mayor Jerry P. Weiers remarked on this development: “The boom in our entertainment district has been phenomenal. As a city we have been focused on growing our experiential economy. The Experience Glendale rebrand amplifies our efforts, along with the addition of Andretti Indoor Karting & Games. The time is now to experience Glendale.”

The new logo for Experience Glendale supports the city’s existing brand while maintaining individuality with a focus on travel and tourism. It uses flexible iconography that allows connections with communities and events unique to Glendale.

The CVB has also launched an updated website featuring information on local attractions and events. Plans are underway for monument signs and wayfinding signs as part of integrating the new brand into the community landscape.
