As the 2025-2026 academic year began, Glendale Union High School District (GUHSD) welcomed students and families back to its campuses. The start of the new school year saw returning students and the incoming Class of 2029 participating in activities aimed at helping them adjust and prepare for the months ahead.
The district emphasized its commitment to fostering a sense of community. Freshman students received guidance from Link Crew members as they navigated their first day, while seniors focused on their final year and upcoming graduation milestones. GUHSD staff highlighted the importance of encouragement and support provided by teachers and staff to every student.
Teachers and staff prepared for the new school year by ensuring that each campus is both safe and welcoming. This preparation reflects GUHSD’s ongoing commitment to maintaining high academic standards and prioritizing student well-being.
Looking forward, GUHSD stated its focus remains on growth, continuous improvement, and achievement as it moves through the school year. The district anticipates a productive year with lessons designed to inspire students, build connections within the school community, and achieve shared goals.
