Jake Hoffman, a Republican state senator representing Arizona’s 15th Senate District since 2023, has made several public statements on social media criticizing the Maricopa County Board of Supervisors and other local officials.

On February 14, 2026, Hoffman posted: “The CORRUPT Maricopa County, AZ Board of Supervisors is attempting to throw the duly elected County Recorder out of office for refusing to go along with their corruption! UniParty Stephen Richer (former Recorder) is posturing like he knows he’ll be appointed if they’re https://t.co/UT8rvIEPx7”

Continuing his criticism the following day, Hoffman wrote: “Obamacare Kate is at it again Now she’s running a COUP on our Election Integrity-focused Recorder! This is the same kind of SHAM Democrats have run against President @realDonaldTrump She’s a petty tyrant Tell her minions Debbie Lesko & Mark Stewart to get LOUD & OPPOSE her! https://t.co/8DzYolavHg” (February 15, 2026).

Later that day, Hoffman directed remarks toward another official: “For my neighbors that don’t understand…” Why a condescending piece of crap you are, Mark. Only pandering losers refer to their constituents (aka: BOSSES) as “neighbors” or “friends” (mccain’s fav) Mark thinks you’re too dumb to see through his act UNELECT MARK! https://t.co/dAmKQsBgJg” (February 15, 2026).

Hoffman’s comments come amid ongoing tensions in Maricopa County regarding election administration and political leadership. As an Arizona State Senator who succeeded Nancy K. Barto in 2023, Hoffman has positioned himself as a vocal critic of both Democratic and some Republican officials within the county.
