Jake Hoffman, an Arizona politician and frequent commentator on state and national policy, has recently published a series of posts on social media addressing topics ranging from airport security to state government spending and education funding.
On July 8, 2025, Hoffman criticized current airport security measures in the United States. He stated: “Not having to remove our shoes is in no way the ‘Golden Age of America.’ Give us back our freedom to travel free from the mass surveillance, invasion of our privacy, and ridiculous security theater. Abolish the TSA.”
The following day, July 9, 2025, Hoffman raised concerns regarding Arizona Governor Katie Hobbs’ appointment practices. In his post he wrote: “NEW ARIZONA SCANDAL @KatieHobbs nominated fellow Dem politician, Dana Allmond, for a cushy gov’t job. Then Katie DEMOTED her. Then Katie invented a job that’s never existed before for her. Then Katie paid her & her asst. nearly $600,000 of YOUR money! FULL STATEMENT:”
On July 10, 2025, Hoffman commented on education funding in Arizona’s K-12 system. He claimed: “What Democrats & their media shills will never tell you is that right now K-12 gov’t-run schools are hoarding more than $7,000,000,000 ($7+ BILLION) in taxpayer money! FACT: ESA families educate their children with LESS money, and in most cases outperform their gov’t school”
Arizona’s Empowerment Scholarship Account (ESA) program allows families to use public funds for private education expenses as an alternative to traditional public schooling.
