Jake Lifgren and Point Loma advance with 76-61 win in NCAA Division II tournament

On Friday, March 13, Jake Lifgren, a former Centennial High School standout, helped lead the Point Loma Sea Lions to a 76-61 victory over the Northwest Nazarene Nighthawks in the NCAA Division II Basketball Tournament.

The match was held in Pioneer Gymnasium at 12 p.m. and marked the first time the Sea Lions faced the Northwest Nazarene Nighthawks in the tournament.

The Point Loma Sea Lions are scheduled to play again on Saturday, March 14 at 5 p.m. at Pioneer Gymnasium.
