The Office of Congressman Abe Hamadeh has recently used social media to address issues related to Arizona election laws and the future of Syria. In a series of posts, the office highlighted concerns over voting regulations and expressed support for reforms.
On August 5, 2025, the Office of Congressman Hamadeh posted, “.@krismayes is fighting a @AZGOP legal effort to STOP expatriates who have NEVER resided in Arizona from voting in our elections
She wants all elections to be as corrupt as the one that installed her into office
Congressman Hamadeh’s PROVE Act stops this https://t.co/LjJAPlAHGD“.
In another post on August 6, 2025, the office commented on developments in Syria: “The Syrian Democratic Forces are a key part of Syria’s future.
The new Syrian regime must move away from the former regime’s failed approach of intimidation and retaliation and toward a system grounded in protecting the rights and freedom for all.
Later that day, the office returned to the topic of election law, stating: “The UOCAVA loophole in our election law currently allows an untold number of overseas voters to vote in major swing states where they have no connection.
To help remedy the loophole, Congressman Hamadeh has introduced the PROVE Act to tighten the rules.

Congressman Abraham Hamadeh was elected in 2024 after defeating Gregory Whitten with 56.5% of the vote. The recent posts reference ongoing debates within Arizona regarding voter eligibility for expatriates and legislative efforts such as the PROVE Act aimed at tightening voting regulations. The statements also touch upon international issues by addressing governance reforms in Syria.
