The Office of Congressman Abe Hamadeh recently shared a series of tweets highlighting legislative developments and efforts in Washington, D.C. The posts provide insights into the congressman’s priorities and ongoing work for his constituents in Arizona’s 8th Congressional District.
On July 2, 2025, the office announced that under the “One Big Beautiful Bill,” “88% of all seniors who receive Social Security will pay NO TAX on their Social Security benefits.” This legislation is described as “the largest tax break in history for America’s seniors,” marking a significant achievement for Congressional District Eight.
In a subsequent tweet on July 3, 2025, Congressman Hamadeh acknowledged the demanding nature of his role with late nights spent working in Washington, D.C. He emphasized his commitment to advancing the president’s agenda by stating that “AZ-08 voted for Congressman Hamadeh to advance @POTUS’s America First Agenda, and that’s exactly what he’s going to do.”
Further underscoring his dedication to legislative progress, another post from July 3 noted that it was past midnight and yet “Congressman Hamadeh and his team are STILL fighting for you AZ-08.” He urged support for passing the Big Beautiful Bill.
