The Office of Congressman Abe Hamadeh has shared several updates on social media this week, including remarks on the resignation of a fellow congressman, the dedication of a post office in honor of a fallen officer, and an upcoming art competition for students.
On April 15, 2026, the Office posted: “Congressman Hamadeh was honored to preside over Eric Swalwell’s formal resignation. The allegations against him are serious and deserve their day in court. But Swalwell does not deserve the honor of representing the American people while litigating the sordid details of his”.
The following day, April 16, 2026, Congressman Hamadeh highlighted a local tribute: “Naming this post office in Officer Coolidge’s honor is a small but enduring tribute — a permanent reminder to every Arizonan who walks through those doors of his bravery & devotion, & of all those who have given their last full measure of service to our communities.”
Later that same day, Hamadeh encouraged constituents to participate in an annual art contest: “NEW This year’s Congressional District Art Competition is coming to a close, but you still have time to submit your artwork for Congressman Hamadeh’s consideration. The theme for the competition is “Celebrating 250 Years of Freedom in America.” To learn more or to submit”
Abraham Hamadeh was elected as a U.S. Representative after defeating Gregory Whitten in the 2024 general election with 56.5% of the vote.
