City of Surprise issued the following announcement on Oct. 23
Activities to prepare Bell Road, Cotton Lane to just west of 183rd Avenue, for pavement preservation are currently underway.
Overnight work to mill sections of the roadway is scheduled to begin on Monday, October 28. Paving activities will begin on Monday, November 4, and will continue through the end of the month. Roadway striping is scheduled to occur in early December.
The project completion date is Thursday, December 12, weather permitting.
During the project, drivers can expect reduced travel lanes and turn restrictions. Both daytime and overnight construction activities are planned to keep the project on schedule.
Access for residents and emergency vehicles will be maintained at all times.
