Registration opening for Summer Camp

The City of Surprise is excited to offer Summer Break Camp for youth entering 1st through 8th grade! This is a fun-filled camp that includes afternoon snack, daily activities, arts and crafts, games, sports and field trips. Field trips may include but are not limited to bowling, laser tag, water park, movies, pools, Jakes Unlimited and much more! 

Summer Camp 2022 will be held May 23 through August 3; Monday through Friday from 6:30 a.m. - 6 p.m. Camp will be held at Countryside Recreation Center located at 15038 N. Parkview Pl. for children entering grades 1st through 4th and Sierra Montana Recreation Center located at 14861 N. Spring Ln. for participants entering grades 5th through 8th.  

Fees for Summer Camp

Registration Fee:      $30 per child - Resident     $50 per child - Non-resident

Daily fee:                   $25/day - Resident            $29/day - Non-resident

Weekly fee:               $125/week - Resident        $145/week - Non-residents 

*Registration fee is due at time of registration. Weekly fee is due the Friday before week of attendance.

Resident registration beings on Monday, March 21 and Non-resident registration begins Wednesday, March 30. Registration packets can be downloaded from our website at surpriseaz.gov/recreation. Once paperwork is completed, registration will be taken at the Surprise Parks & Recreation Office, located at 15960 N. Bullard Ave. from 8 a.m. to 5 pm. During Spring Training, March 18-April 5, please be prepared for limited access to the stadium parking lot and Parks & Recreation office. Additional parking can be found at the Surprise Aquatic Center and Community Park. 

Space is limited for each location and will fill quickly. Please register early to ensure a spot.

With daily reassessments in relation to COVID-19; rules, procedures and general guidance are subject to change. Participants are to adhere to guidelines set forth by the CDC.
