City of Peoria residents who receive residential solid waste services are eligible for hazardous waste pickup. Scheduling can be done online and, once scheduled, the team will come to your home to collect the designated items. Scheduling opened on Tuesday, Jan. 3, 2023, with collection dates running from Jan. 16 to Feb. 3. Acceptable items include household chemicals marked dangerous, paint thinners, auto batteries and rechargeable batteries.
