Arizona Christian University (ACU) has announced that it will freeze tuition for the 2025-26 academic year, maintaining the rates from the previous year. This decision was made by ACU's Board of Trustees during their annual fall meeting, despite facing inflationary pressures. The university aims to keep its education accessible while staying true to its conservative and biblical values.
University President Len Munsil emphasized the institution's commitment to providing a supportive community for students. "At ACU, we don’t just educate students—we walk alongside them in a caring community that helps them grow academically, develop a strong foundation in a biblical worldview, and thrive personally," Munsil stated. He further noted that freezing tuition reinforces ACU's mission of offering an education rooted in biblical truth.
ACU’s tuition is approximately 30 percent lower than the average private college tuition in the United States. With additional scholarships funded by donors, many students pay amounts comparable to those at Arizona's public universities. "We recognize college students today are under enormous economic pressures," said Munsil. He highlighted that ACU serves a diverse student body, including 22 percent first-generation college students and 58 percent eligible for Pell Grants due to lower household incomes.
The university is known for integrating a biblical worldview into its curriculum, aiming to prepare students for ethical leadership and service-oriented lives. The decision to maintain current tuition levels reflects this commitment by fostering an environment conducive to academic and personal growth.
For current students, this move ensures stability in financial planning, allowing them to focus on their studies and spiritual development within ACU’s supportive setting. Prospective families can anticipate receiving value through personalized instruction grounded in faith-based principles without concerns over increasing costs.
ACU invites potential students and their families to explore educational opportunities offered within its community-focused environment that prioritizes purpose-driven learning free from rising financial burdens.
