On January 27, 2025, Congresswoman Lesko expressed her appreciation for the service of Glendale Police Department Chief Chris Briggs. In her message, she stated: "Thank you, @GlendaleAZPD Chief Chris Briggs, for your service to our city. Best of luck to you in your future endeavors."

The following day, January 28, 2025, she conveyed condolences regarding the passing of Captain Paramedic Anthony Mock from the Phoenix Fire Department. She wrote: "Joe and I send our condolences to the family, friends, and colleagues of Captain Paramedic Anthony Mock of the Phoenix Fire Department. Anthony was a hero to our community, and his record of service will be long remembered. Rest in peace."
