City of Peoria issued the following announcement on Oct. 17
The City of Peoria is seeking volunteers to fill vacancies on various boards and commissions, such as the Building Board of Appeals, Municipal Development Authority and the Veterans Memorial Board. Board and commission members review policies, plans, and projects and make recommendations to the Peoria City Council. For applications and a complete list and description of city boards and commissions, contact the Peoria City Clerk’s Office at 623-773-7340, stop by the office at 8401 W. Monroe Street, or visit www.peoriaaz.gov/clerk.
