House Rep. Leo Biasiucci (R-Lake Havasu City) visited Bouse Elementary School earlier this month after a bill he sponsored last session was made into law that he said helped the school.
Biasiucci said in a Facebook post Dec. 3 that he had visited the school for the first time.
"My first bill signed into law last session was one that prevented Bouse Elementary School from being underfunded and potentially closing," Biasiucci wrote. "Today I had the opportunity to visit Bouse Elementary for the first time and witness the importance of keeping small rural schools open."
Biasiucci said the school was an outstanding great environment for students.
"You are doing great things and I thank you for providing such a great learning environment for our children," he said.
