Willowbrook United Methodist Church recently issued the following announcement.
It is in grief and sadness that we share with you the passing of our beloved Pastor Sande Kimbel. Pastor Sande had been fighting a brave battle against cancer but succumbed to the disease early in the morning of Saturday, March 21, 2020.
Sande was one of those rare pastors who combined enthusiasm for ministry with a servant’s heart and a compassionate love for others. She was a familiar sight at the various hospitals and rehab centers in our area. She led GriefShare, SEEP, VBS, preached and ministered in so many ways. We were so blessed to have known her and to have ministered with her. She was greatly loved and will be greatly missed — but not forgotten.
