There are state-wide resources in place that you can apply for to ask for help during this time.
Gov. Doug Ducey put forth the Arizona Together initiative. The website has information on how to receive help as well as help others during the time of the coronavirus emergency. It includes links for unemployment assistance, disability services, childcare assistance, information for seniors and more.
Local First Arizona provides grants for family-owned small businesses in Arizona that have three or less employees. These are used for expenses such as employee payroll or rent. Priority is given to businesses that have children under the age 18 reliant on it.
The Arizona Diamondbacks Foundations is offering $550,000 to nonprofit organizations in Arizona. Those who are interested can apply on their website.
OneAZ Community Foundation and OneAZ Credit Union have pledged in $200,000 in emergency COVID-19 community grants.
Restaurants can find help with the Arizona Restaurant Association. On its website, restaurants can put their takeout and delivery options. Customers can also find information about restaurants that are open for takeout and delivery during the COVID 19 outbreak.
Non-profits can find support with Support My Club, a Phoenix-based institution that normally helps sports clubs and high school teams. Organizations can use their technology to list supplies they need. Local, small nonprofits are encouraged to post on their website on a first come, first serve basis.
LeadMD partnered with Invest Southwest to implement the AZ Local Impact Fund. It provides financial assistance to small businesses. It is now accepting donations, and businesses can apply starting April 20.
