City of Surprise issued the following announcement on Feb. 2.
The City of Surprise Parks and Recreation Department is offering a one-week Spring Break Camp that will run March 14-18. Camp registration is open now for Surprise residents and will open to non-residents on Wednesday, February 16.
This camp provides opportunities for youth currently enrolled in Kindergarten – 6th grades to have fun in a safe and supervised program. Your child will enjoy on-site activities such as arts and crafts, games, sports, field trips and more. Camp will be held 6:30 a.m. – 6 p.m. Monday – Friday at Sierra Montana Recreation Center, located at 14861 N. Spring Ln.
The fee is $25 per day for Surprise residents and $29 for non-residents. There is a registration fee of $10 for residents and $30 for non-residents. The program will fill quickly, so please register early to ensure a space! Lunch is not included in the camp fee, so please have your child bring a sack lunch.
To download a registration packet, visit surpriseaz.gov/recreation and click on “Break Camps.” Once the packet is completed, bring it to the Parks and Recreation Department office (15960 N. Bullard Ave.) to finalize your registration.
With daily reassessments in relation to COVID-19, rules, procedures and general guidance are subject to change. Participants must adhere to guidelines set forth by the CDC.
