An Update on Spring Training

Siu

City of Surprise issued the following announcement on Feb. 25.

Major League Baseball and Major League Baseball Players Association have not yet been able to reach a new collective bargaining agreement. Due to the ongoing negotiations, MLB has notified all Clubs that it is no longer possible to play the first 10 days of Spring Training games (February 26 – March 7) as originally scheduled.

We are disappointed that we are not able to start as scheduled and apologize for any inconvenience this causes you. MLB is working to get the game back on the field as quickly as possible.

If you purchased tickets to a cancelled or rescheduled game for the Texas Rangers or Kansas City Royals through an authorized Surprise Stadium outlet, tickets may be refunded or exchanged. Exchanges are available at the Surprise Stadium Box Office prior to the originally scheduled event date; otherwise, a refund will be processed. All refunds are subject to the Surprise Stadium refund policy.

A full refund will be automatically processed to the method of payment used at time of purchase, including service fees (if applicable). No action is needed to start the refund process, and they are usually completed within 30 days.

Please go to SurpriseStadium.com or contact the Surprise Stadium Box Office at 623.222.2222 for more information on exchanging your tickets.

Thank you for your support and we look forward to seeing you at a game at Surprise Stadium later this spring.
