This biography highlights the stellar life of a phenomenal woman whose accomplishments will inspire everyone, and also showcases the importance of intersectional inclusion in institutions for women and people of color. Dr. Jemison’s anthropic endeavors, scientific accomplishment, and tireless work to help the world are absolutely worth celebrating!

One of the world’s most renowned mystery authors to this day, Christie’s Death on the Nile was one of many of her incredibly popular Hercule Poirot novels. In this mystery, the fastidious, fussy, and brilliant Belgian detective Poirot is on the case when someone is apparently murdered on a cruise along the Nile River in Egypt. This entry in the long-running series has been adapted into several various films and television episodes, and each version is certain to surprise you with the story’s fun twists and turns!
Steve Jobs: The Man in the Machine (DVD 338.761 STEVEJO) – Though co-founder much earlier in his life, Steve Jobs returned to a failing Apple Computer Inc. on September 16, 1997 initially as interim CEO and later becoming the company’s full-time CEO in 2000. This outstanding documentary unravels the myths the late tech giant crafted for himself, featuring a complicated and intriguing narrative that seeks to critically analyze Jobs’ life and legacy with regard to the past and present culture of Silicon Valley.
