For many of us who grew up in the 60s, Bob Dylan is a prophet. To others, he’s an aggravation to be ignored as music and discounted as a poet. This class will focus on Dylan as literature, from the free-form poetry of his book, Tarantula, and his memoir, Chronicles: Volume One, to his ballads and poetry.
