After raising his sugar with medicine typically crews will make a meal for the person. However this gentleman did not have any food in his home. While his sugar was now normal, it would not last for long without some food to sustain it. The crew gently inquired as to why he didn't have any food and when they learned his food stamps wouldn't be available until the next day they knew they needed to help. The crew made a quick trip to the grocery store and chipped in to buy the man some essentials. When they returned to deliver them, he was surprised and overwhelmed with gratitude. Sometimes a little kindness goes a long way. Stay safe.
