Transportation available for Mayor Beck’s State of the City Address on April 3

Peoria Mayor Jason Beck will share the city’s most recent accomplishments and provide the path to continued success at the State of the City Kick-off Event, Wednesday, April 3. The event will take place at Christ’s Church of the Valley - Peoria, 7007 W. Happy Valley Road, beginning at 6:30 p.m. A dinner will follow the presentation. The program will begin with a State of the City video featuring a high-level view of the most significant achievements over the past year based on the City Council’s priorities of Public Safety, Water Security, Economic Development, and Education.

Transportation is available from City Hall starting at 5:45 pm to CCV Peoria. The shuttles return to City Hall at 8 pm. Residents can reserve a spot on the shuttle by calling Peoria Transit at 623-773-7435.

In addition to the large public event, Mayor Beck has scheduled informal public “Community Conversation” visits at the following locations:

- April 8, 10 a.m. at the Peoria Community Center, 8335 W. Jefferson Street

- April 10, 10 a.m. at Westbrook Village- Lakes Ballroom, 19281 N. Westbrook Parkway
