The City of Peoria has announced the schedule for its upcoming City Council and Planning and Zoning Commission meetings.

The next City Council meeting, scheduled for Tuesday, May 7 at 6 pm, will take place in the Peoria Council Chamber located at 8401 W. Monroe Street. Residents are encouraged to access meeting agendas and information on the city's official website at www.peoriaaz.gov/council. Those unable to attend in person can still participate by tuning in to the live broadcasts on Cox Channel 11, Facebook (www.facebook.com/CityofPeoriaAZ), or YouTube (https://www.youtube.com/@DigitalPeoria).

Regarding the Planning and Zoning Commission, meetings are typically held on the 1st and 3rd Thursday of each month at 6 pm in the Peoria Council Chamber. However, there will not be a meeting on May 16. The next scheduled meeting will be on June 6. Just like the City Council meetings, the Planning and Zoning Commission gatherings are also broadcast live on Cox Channel 11, Facebook, and YouTube.

In anticipation of the upcoming meetings, a city representative stated, "The City Council meeting on May 7 and the Planning and Zoning Commission meeting on June 6 are crucial opportunities for residents to engage with local governance and voice their opinions on important matters affecting the community."
