This week, Peoria public libraries will host two Japanese Taiko Drumming demonstrations. The program aims to delve into the cultures of the Far East through thrilling performances and an interactive lecture that highlights the Taiko drum among other Asian musical instruments.
Two sessions are scheduled for Friday, May 24: one from 11 am to noon at Sunrise Mountain Library, located at 21109 N. 98th Avenue, and another from 3 to 4 pm at the Peoria Main Library, situated at 8463 W. Monroe Street.
