In observance of Memorial Day, the City of Peoria offices will be closed on Monday, May 27, 2024. This includes the Peoria Main Library located at 8463 W. Monroe Street and Sunrise Mountain Library at 21109 N. 98th Avenue. Both libraries will also remain closed on May 27.
Any items that were originally due during the closure will now be due on Tuesday, May 28. However, it should be noted that the outside bookdrops will not be accessible during this period.
The Rio Vista Recreation Center, situated at 8866 W. Thunderbird Road, has revised its hours for Memorial Day. The center will open from 5 am to 4 pm. For additional information, individuals can call at 623.773.8600 or visit www.peoriaaz.gov/riovista.
For queries regarding solid waste pickup during the holiday, residents are advised to visit www.peoriaaz.gov/holidaytrash.
