The Peoria Community Center, located at 8335 W. Jefferson Street, will implement an increase in room rental rates starting July 1. The rate for the Calderwood Room, the main banquet hall, will rise to $125 per hour for residents and $130 per hour for non-residents during non-business hours. This adjustment marks the first rate hike since 2005.
The banquet room offers a spacious area of 4,250 square feet with a 486-square-foot stage and can accommodate up to 200 guests. Additionally, it includes tables, chairs, and access to audiovisual equipment.
It is important to note that the rates for smaller meeting rooms will not be affected by this change.
