On Wednesday, June 12, at 5:30 pm, the Peoria Main Library will host a special event titled "Where Arizona Meets Disney." Arizona’s Hip Historian Marshall Shore will explore the hidden connections between Arizona and the iconic Disney brand. Shore's talk aims to take attendees on a journey through Walt Disney's adventures in Arizona and highlight various influences that have shaped both the state and Disney.
"From a long-gone local amusement park to movie connections and even design influences, this chat promises to be a magical experience," said Shore.
Marshall Shore is known for his unique style of storytelling that brings history to life in an engaging way. The event is free to attend. The Peoria Main Library is located at 8463 W. Monroe Street.
