On April 1, 2025, Hoffman addressed concerns regarding Tom Horne's influence on educational policies and elections in Arizona. He expressed his belief that "Tom Horne is the greatest threat to school choice & the ESA program in Arizona." Hoffman projected that Horne would "lose to the Democrat in the 2026 general election" and emphasized the importance of a strong pro-school choice candidate, stating that he is currently "working on identifying that candidate now."

In a tweet from April 2, 2025, Hoffman criticized Republican actions concerning election integrity legislation. He remarked that it was "NOT A GOOD LOOK" for Republicans who oppose "common sense election integrity bills," asserting that such politicians "shouldn’t be re-elected."

He reflected on the fact that the "Racist loser Strom Thurmond was a DEMOCRAT in 1957 when he did his record setting filibuster in opposition to expanded voting rights for Black Americans."
