Maricopa County makes progress on spending full $399 million in CARES Act funding

Federal CARES Act funding must be spent by Thursday, Dec. 31 or returned, but Maricopa County is ahead of the curve, with $230 million in CARES Act funds distributed by mid-September.

Glendale accepts arguments for, against ballot measures for inclusion in election pamphlet

With the Glendale City Council having referred measures for the Nov. 3 ballot, local residents are now free to submit arguments for or against those measures to be published in the city’s election day publicity pamphlet.
