BLM announces temporary restrictions to access roads on public lands near Kingman
The Bureau of Land Management Kingman Field Office announced there will be temporary restrictions on newly constructed access roads to allow for the construction of a 24,527-acre wind farm in the White Hills area, 40 miles northwest of Kingman (see map). Beginning February 29, these new construction roads may be intermittently restricted, for public safety, to allow installation of wind turbines, electric collector lines, and communication lines needed to construct the 350-megawatt wind farm.
