City of El Mirage issued the following announcement on Aug. 11.
The Certificate of Achievement for Excellence in Financial Reporting was awarded to the City of El Mirage by the Government Finance Officers Association of the United States and Canada (GFOA) for its comprehensive annual financial report (CAFR).
This is the tenth consecutive year the City of El Mirage has received this prestigious award.
“Congratulations to our Finance Department team for achieving this award for financial reporting excellence 10 years in a row,” said Interim Finance Director Dana Williams. “We are extremely proud of all their hard work.”
The Certificate of Achievement is the highest form of recognition in the area of governmental accounting and financial reporting, and this attainment represents a significant accomplishment by the City of El Mirage.
