City of Surprise issued the following announcement on Mar. 11.

Major League Baseball, in conjunction with the Kansas City Royals and Texas Rangers, has released the revised 2022 Cactus League Spring Training schedule. Opening Day in Surprise, Arizona is set for Friday, March 18 with the Texas Rangers taking on the Kansas City Royals at Surprise Stadium.

The Surprise Stadium game schedule is as follows:

Game times and fan health and safety guidelines will be announced at a later date.

Dates, times and opponents are subject to change. Game times listed are Arizona Time. All games are subject to dynamic pricing. 

Single game tickets will go on sale starting Tuesday, March 15 at 10 a.m. (PST).  Tickets can be purchased online at surprisestadium.com, in-person at the Surprise Stadium Box Office, 15850 N Bullard Ave., or by phone at 623.222.2222.

Service charges and processing fees may apply to online and phone orders. 

Box Office Hours

March 11 - April 5:

Game Days - Daily starting at 10 a.m. The box office will close at the conclusion of the game.

Non-Game Days - Daily 10 a.m.-3 p.m.

Due to the revised Spring Training schedule, fans who purchased tickets to games under the original schedule will be refunded or credited based on the following Surprise Stadium ticket policies:

Individual game ticket buyers who purchased their tickets through an authorized Surprise Stadium outlet will automatically receive a full refund, including any applicable service fees, for any games originally scheduled between February 26 through March 26 on the card used to make the purchase(s). Refunds will be processed within 30 days. To purchase tickets for the updated schedule, please visit surprisestadium.com or call 623.222.2222.

Mini-Plan ticket buyers will automatically receive a full refund for the value of their individual tickets for games originally scheduled from February 26 through March 26 on the card used to make the purchase(s). Refunds will be processed within 30 days.

Season Ticket Holders will be credited the full amount of the remaining ticket balance from March 18 - 26. Credits can be used for future games, or they can choose to get a full refund. Representatives from Surprise Stadium will be in contact with Season Ticket Holders to review options. 

Group Ticket Holders that have reservations for any games originally scheduled from February 26 through March 26 will be offered the opportunity to select a new date in 2022 (pending availability) or will receive a full refund on the card used to make the purchase(s). Refunds will be processed within 30 days. Representatives from Surprise Stadium will be in contact with Group Leaders.
