Jake Hoffman, a public figure and commentator, expressed several pointed opinions through a series of tweets in early April 2025. In these posts, Hoffman commented on various political issues, targeting multiple individuals and historical figures.
In a tweet dated April 2, 2025, Hoffman criticized Tom Horne, asserting: ".@realTomHorne shows what a fraud he really is He voted NO on AZ’s signature School Tuition Organization (STO) Tax Credit Program in 1997 He literally voted to block school choice Now he’s destroying the ESA program Tom Horne is the greatest threat to school choice in Arizona". Hoffman accused Horne of being a significant obstacle to school choice in Arizona due to his past and current actions.
On April 3, 2025, Hoffman turned his attention to Tony, accusing him of concealing racism within the Democratic Party. Hoffman wrote: "Tony’s strategy: 1) Shamelessly attempt to hide the utter racism of the Democrat Party 2) Make up random crap with no basis in reality Tony = A greater percentage of Republicans voted for the Civil Rights Act of 1964 than Democrats. In fact, the south was a Democratic". Hoffman here criticizes Tony's alleged tactics and highlights historical voting patterns on civil rights legislation.
In a separate post on the same day, Hoffman critiqued a Democratic political consultant for alleged hypocrisy. In his statement, Hoffmann claimed: "Hypocritical take from a Dem political consultant while the entire Democrat Party doubles down on defending their eugenics deity Margaret Sanger — founder of Planned Parenthood Sanger hated black & brown people Sanger hated people w/disabilities Sanger created PP to murder them". Hoffman accused the Democratic Party of continuing to defend Margaret Sanger, whom he depicted negatively, associating her with controversial views on race and disability.
